All the staff are so so kind and accommodating. I’ve been coming in for help with anxiety medication as well as ED treatment and everyone has treated me with warmth and care. Highly recommend the SHC.

This clinic allowed a male doctor to do an invasive and traumatic exam on a female to male transgender student. The doctor did not follow protocol for the exam and used his own hands to expose the students genitals. This is not a safe space for students, do not trust this place.

This health center allowed a male doctor - Schneider to do an invasive and emotionally traumatic exam on a female to male transgender student in which he didn't follow protocol and even used his own hands to expose the students private parts. Not a safe space for students, the school continued to allow the doctor to work there after the incident, he has since retired.

twice i’ve called to ask the health center questions, and both times no one has even answered the phone. my limit for sitting on hold is about 10 minutes, and unless summer hours effect their ability to take phone calls (their hours are listed and they say they’re open) then i don’t think it should take this long for an answer on a random thursday :(

Update: this is mostly a cry for help, as I've reached a point of desperate measures. This university is on the verge of making me miss legal timelines, again. CJ Swanlund has failed to provide access to my digital health records, so that I could be informed of who has been accessing my priveleged information. I thought this would help me know who violated my privacy rights during the rape case since it's audited. CJ became nervous when I asked for this list, which makes me feel even more like my privacy has been violated beyond my awareness. Why else would CJ be nervous to let me access the list of people who have accessed my records??? It makes no sense. Who is she protecting? What is WWU hiding? I've been trying to get this information since 2024 and nothing has worked. I am so desperate for help that I am sharing this information in a public review section. It's really unclear why CJ has interrupted my ability to access my digital health record so that I could view the list of viewers who accessed my records on the day these violations happened. This seems wrong. I have signed a ROI specifically to access my DHR as suggested by CJ, and then she still fails to provide access t
